Delegation from Lithuania arrived in Taiwan

The Lithuanian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania Agne Vaiciukeviciute arrived on a visit to Taiwan on August 6.

“We wish the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania a productive five-day stay aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation and business ties in the advanced sectors of tomorrow,” – Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Twitter.

The purpose of the visit is to visit Taiwan’s transport agencies and leading manufacturers of electric buses. Get acquainted with the possibilities of cooperation in the field of production of electric buses and environmentally friendly vehicles. And also to “demonstrate solidarity between the two democratic allies and create industry chains in the two countries.”

This is already the third visit of the Deputy Minister of Lithuania to Taiwan in recent times. On June 12, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation visited the island, and on June 22, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture visited the island.
